Message from the President Masashi Ishida

Since its establishment, Cataler has contributed to the global environment for over fifty years through the development, manufacturing, and sales of exhaust gas purification catalysts. Currently, the automotive industry is experiencing a once-in-a-century major transformation, and our business environment is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Nevertheless, we do not fear these changes; rather, we regard them as valuable opportunities to embrace new challenges. In 2024, to pave the way for the future, we formulated the “GLOBAL VISION 2035.” This vision represents a resolute declaration of our commitment to addressing social issues through catalyst technology, and advancing multiple business ventures, including new initiatives.

Moreover, guided by the principles of “Determination, Create Momentum, and Challenge” outlined in our medium- to long-term management plan, we consider the next five years as a critical period for sustainable growth and are fully committed to this endeavor. In 2025, we established the Cataler Way, through which we have shared our core values and direction, emphasizing “Honesty,” “Teamwork,” “Purpose Driven,” “Relentless KAIZEN,” and “Creating New Path.” Grounded in these values, we will continue to pursue transformation and endeavor to extend Cataler’s value worldwide.
