Cataler Workstyle Innovation
(C-WIN)
At Cataler, the Company and its employees are working together to advance work style reforms so that diverse human assets can play an active role in line with their work-life balance. We are creating a Win-Win environment for the Company and its employees by streamlining and revamping business, and enabling diverse and flexible work styles.
Cataler's goal of work-life balance
"Work-life balance" means "harmony and coordination between work and life," but what is implied may vary from company to company. Cataler interprets work-life balance as follows, and conducts work style reform activities so that employees can obtain synergistic effects between "life" and "work".
Toward realization of work style innovation
Work style innovation activities are conducted in cooperation with all organizations to which employees belong, such as labor unions, departmental managers' associations, women's activity promotion organizations (TSUBOMI WG), and overseas entities (employees posted overseas), to regularly discuss, decide, and introduce measures that meet employees' needs.

(*)Work instructions
The work procedures manual is based on a scientific approach and summarizes the work procedures for each process so that operations such as machine operation, tool change, setup change, machining of parts, and assembly can be performed accurately, quickly, easily, and safely. Cataler has created a manual (WISDOM: Work Instruction Sheet for Divisional Operation Management) similar to a work procedures manual, not only for technical operations but also for managerial operations.
(*)Work interval
In April 2019, the "Act on Special Measures Concerning Improvement of Working Hours, etc." was revised, making "work interval" mandatory. The "work interval" is a system to prevent long working hours by ensuring a certain amount of rest time (interval) between the end of the previous day's work and the start of the next day's work.
*At Cataler, supervisors manage work hours and there is cooperation among workplace members to ensure that all employees have an interval of at least 10 hours between workdays.
(*)RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
RPA (Robotic Process Automation) is a "software robot" that can automate a series of tasks performed by white-collar workers using PCs and other devices. It is used as a tool to improve business efficiency and productivity.
(*)IKUBOSS
An “IKUBOSS” is a boss who nurtures its subordinates.
At Cataler, we are committed to developing leaders who consider the work-life balance (balance between work and personal life) of their subordinates and staff who work with them in the workplace, and who support their career and life, while also achieving results in organizational performance, and enjoying their own work and personal lives.
