Participating in the "Enshu Decarbonization Project" Led by Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., Inc.

Cataler Corporation will participate in the "Enshu Decarbonization Project" led by Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., Inc. This project involves companies based in the Enshu region of Shizuoka Prefecture and aims to effectively utilize solar power by allowing companies to share surplus electricity with each other. Since the introduction of solar power generation equipment is premised on consuming electricity within one’s own company, it is necessary to balance supply and demand, and it can be challenging to fully utilize the site area. By allowing other companies to effectively use surplus electricity that cannot be consumed internally, it becomes possible to maximize the amount of solar power introduced, which would be difficult to achieve alone, and to make effective use of it throughout the region.

Using electricity efficiently reduces the use of fossil fuels and leads to reductions in carbon dioxide emissions.

Through initiatives like this, Cataler Corporation will contribute to the realization of efficient and sustainable energy use and a cleaner, more livable society.
