The next-generation vehicle battery material business, including electrocatalysts for fuel cells and carbon materials for storage batteries, is also growing steadily.
Gasoline engine catalysts
Catalysts for gasoline vehicles are required to have the performance to purify harmful components even at various temperatures and oxygen concentrations, and to have improved technology to control ultra-fine particulate matter (PM) emissions in order to comply with stricter regulations in various countries. Cataler is actively working on these issues, and has earned high acclaim and deep trust from automobile manufacturers.
Diesel engine catalysts
Diesel engines are more fuel-efficient than gasoline engines. However, with the tightening of exhaust gas regulations, diesel engine exhaust gas purification systems have become more complex, and the performance demanded of catalysts is increasing exclusively. Motorcycle catalysts
Cataler develops and supplies catalysts for motorcycles, from scooters to large motorcycles. Motorcycle catalysts are products placed in front of and inside the muffler to decompose and purify harmful components in the exhaust gas for emission.

Cataler develops and manufactures catalysts for general-purpose engines used in brush cutters, lawnmowers, and chain saws, catalysts for marine applications such as water bikes, and various catalytic converters for a gas engine cogeneration system that power building generators.
