Motorcycle catalysts
Cataler develops and supplies catalysts for motorcycles, from scooters to large motorcycles. Motorcycle catalysts are placed in front of or inside mufflers to decompose and purify harmful substances contained in the gas exhausted from the engine.
Metal honeycomb catalyst
It converts carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), and nitrogen oxides (NOx) contained in exhaust gas from scooters and motorcycles into carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O), and nitrogen (N2).
Process of manufacturing a metal honeycomb substrate
STEP.01Corrugating
Metal foil is formed into a corrugated shape.
STEP.02Coiling
The corrugated foil and flat foil are layered to form a wound honeycomb shape.
STEP.03Assembly
The resulting honeycomb structure is assembled with metal pipes.
Pipe-like catalyst
Removes white smoke from motorcycles, golf cars, ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles), etc., and helps purify exhaust gas.
