Electric vehicle

An electric vehicle (BEV, Battery Electric Vehicle) is a vehicle that charges its on-board battery with an external power source and drives an electric motor to drive the vehicle. Since no gasoline or diesel fuel is used, no greenhouse gases or air pollutants are emitted from the vehicle. Although they are already in widespread use, extending the continuous driving range per charge and the development of recharging infrastructure are issues to be addressed.
