PPAP
PPAP is one of the core tools called "Production Parts Approval Process", which defines general requirements for production parts approval. PPAP is of particular importance in IATF 16949, an international automobile industry certification system. It specifies the documentation and records required to obtain approval from customers for parts used in the production of new vehicles at their plants, as well as the methodology for evaluating the adequacy of products and manufacturing processes.
