Zero Emission Vehicle

A Zero Emission Vehicle(ZEV) refers to a vehicle whose power source does not emit greenhouse gases and other substances which are harmful to the human health and environment. Those harmful substances include carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), and particulate matter (PM). To be specific, Zero Emission Vehicles include battery electric vehicles (BEV), fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV), and soapboxes that goes down a slope by gravity, among others.
